March 2006: Wild Wings Golf Tournament
The weather was sunny, yet a little blustery. The event was the second SWD tournament of the season. The stakes were high as this was a combination tournament, a blind draw two person team event, a matchplay qualifer, and the first medal play tournament of the 2006 golf season.
44 players came to tame the Wild Wings Golf Club. A 9-hole track that our members toured twice, it presented a few problems with it's sand traps and strategically placed water hazards. Wild Wings is a fairly new course and plans are in the works to increase it to an 18 hole course.
